HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- Deputies searched overnight for five people who ran away after wrecking a stolen car along FM 1960.
The incident happened shortly before 2 a.m. Monday near Cutten Road.
A deputy with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that he was cut off by a car pulling out of a parking lot. The suspects refused to pull over and sped off eastbound on FM 1960.
After less than a half-mile, the driver struck a curb and blew a tire. Five people ran from the vehicle.
Other deputies were called in, but the suspects were not located.
Deputies said the car was reported stolen in the City of Houston.
