LEAGUE CITY — About 50 people signed up to bid on the firearms collection of Bill James, the late owner of The Arms Room in League City.
The 108-piece collection up for bid included weapons dating back to the early 1800s. There also were World War II-era rifles and gun accessories.
Officials didn’t have a final tally on how much the auction raised, but most of the guns sold for between $200 and $475.
