FORT BEND, Texas—Authorities are searching for two suspects wanted in the armed robbery of a smoke shop in Fort Bend County on October 16.
Deputies were called around 6:30 p.m. to High Dreamz, located in the 9900 block of Highway 6 in regard to an armed robbery.
The store clerk told deputies that a man with a handgun entered the store and told the clerk to get on the floor, which he did. The suspect opened and emptied the cash register, grabbed some cigarettes and cigars, as well as a box of glass pipes and left the store.
Surveillance video shows another male suspect get out of a silver-colored Jeep Compass parked at a nearby business and open the back passenger door as the first suspect exited the store. Both men got into the vehicle and headed south on Highway 6.
The first suspect is described as approximately 6-feet tall, heavy set and wearing a black t-shirt and gray windbreaker pants. The second suspect was shorter with a medium build and was wearing a gray hoodie and baggy shorts.
No injuries were reported.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
