HOUSTON – A man faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter after a two-vehicle accident Saturday night left one man dead in northwest Harris County, deputies said.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a Dodge pickup heading south in the 15000 block of West Little York Road ran a red light as it crossed the intersection with Addicks Satumas Road causing a collision with a gray Lexus SUV just after 8 p.m.

The Lexus was traveling north on Addicks Satsuma as the Dodge crossed the intersection and slammed into the left side of the truck.

A male passenger in the back seat of the Dodge was ejected from the truck, deputies said. He was taken to North Cypress Hospital in critical condition where he later died from his injuries.

A female passenger sitting in the front seat and the male driver of the truck were both taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition, deputies said.

The two occupants in the SUV were not hurt, deputies said.
