HOUSTON – Police have arrested and charged two men with capital murder in connection with a robbery at a Boost Mobile store in southeast Houston.

Johntay Javon Gibson and Brandon Toderick Johnson are accused of fatally shooting Hamed Warrish during a robbery late Monday afternoon in the 5300 block of Telephone Road near Kinney.

Warrish, who was the store’s owner, died at a Houston hospital Monday evening.

Police are still searching for one more person who is believed to be involved in the shooting.

The Houston Police Department has created a task force to crack down on cell phone store robberies as more thieves have started targeting the stores.
