HOUSTON – Two men were killed when they crashed into the back of a stalled vehicle on the North Freeway early Monday, according to Houston police.
A man was driving a blue Ford Expedition southbound in the 11400 block of the North Freeway around 1:15 a.m. when his SUV stalled..
A white Volkswagen occupied by two men came along and smashed into the back of the disabled vehicle.
The 29-year-old Volkswagen driver died at the scene. His 27-year-old passenger was transported to Ben Taub Hospital, where he also died.
The Expedition driver was not injured.
