HOUSTON—Two suspects were arrested, but one remains on the loose after a burglary and police chase in northwest Houston early Saturday, according to Houston police.
HPD responded to a burglary in progress at a restaurant on Pinemont at Rosslyn around 1:30 a.m.
Police said three suspects broke into a laundry mat, then smashed through the wall to enter the restaurant next door. They were in the process of taking the cash register when police arrived.
When the first unit arrived, he saw one male suspect coming out the door. As the officer attempted to detain that suspect, the other two ran out.
The officer chased the suspects into a nearby wooded area.
HPD set up a perimeter and K-9 units were brought to the scene.
After a nearly two-hour search, they found two of the three suspects. The third suspect remains on the loose.
