FRIENDSWOOD, Texas -- Police say two Friendswood teens are facing charges after their parents found them using narcotics at home.

Friendswood police say last Wednesday, officers were called to a residence in a west side subdivision when the girl’s mother found her 15-year old daughter smoking synthetic marijuana out of a plastic water bottle used as a bong.

She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2a and then taken to the Galveston County Juvenile Detention Center.

Then, on Sunday, a 13-year old Friendswood girl from the city’s east side was taken to the hospital after experimenting with synthetic marijuana and cocaine.

Police say after she is released from the hospital she will face charges in a Harris County juvenile court. She’s charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
