HOUSTON – The northbound lanes of the Eastex Freeway were briefly closed overnight after an 18-wheeler jackknifed, Houston police said.

The crash happened around 9 p.m.

Police said they weren’t sure what caused the truck driver to lose control, but no injuries were reported.

All northbound lanes were closed for nearly an hour.
