HOUSTON – Four adults and two children were injured Tuesday in a chain-reaction crash in west Houston that started when a driver had a stroke, police said.
The accident happened at about 2:15 p.m. in front of a church located on Westview at Wirt Road.
Investigators said a man driving a camper had a stroke and started running into cars at the intersection. A total of 16 cars were involved in the wreck.
Six people were sent to the hospital, including one person who got pinned inside his car.
The children were taken to Texas Children’s Hospital and the adults were transported to Ben Taub Hospital.
Everyone is expected to make a full recovery, including the stoke victim, police said.
