HOUSTON -- Arson officials are investigating an apartment fire in west Houston that broke out Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews responded to an apartment complex in the 14600 block of Perthshire Road.
Officials say the fire was intentionally set and at least three units were damaged.
Since December of last year, the Houston Fire Department has responded to twelve intentionally set fires in the area, including Wednesday’s.
Most of the fires have been set in dumpsters; however, some have been started in apartment complex stairwells.
Officials say they are looking for at least three different suspects. The youngest one is believed to be about 16 years old.
Fire officials say if you see someone suspicious -- especially in this neighborhood -- you are urged to call police.
