HOUSTON -- Ten HISD students were checked for injuries Friday after their school bus was struck in west Houston.
Police said a car was heading northbound on Briar Ridge near San Felipe when the driver ran a red light and t-boned a school bus containing 10 students from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
The 10 students and the bus driver were not hurt and checked at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
