1 injured in northeast Houston house fire

HOUSTON -- The Houston Fire Department responded to a home after flames broke out early Friday afternoon.

According to a statement released by HFD, the fire was reported around 12:44 p.m. on Oak Lake Drive.

One resident was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

As of 1:15 p.m., views from Air 11 still showed flames and heavy smoke coming from the two-story home.
