HOUSTON -- A Houston Independent School District employee's pranks have cost him his job, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Stephen Pottinger served as the school district's general manager of procurement. With a salary of $155,358, he was one of the district's highest paid employees.
Pottinger pulled pranks on employees, including soliciting a Russian bride for one of them and even exchanged emails with the mail order bride while he was at work, according to an investigation by HISD’s Equal Employment Opportunity Office.
