HOUSTON -- Three different groups are looking into what went wrong with last week's power outages.
The rolling blackouts left tens of thousands of Texans in the dark.
Two state senate committees plan to hold hearings, and the Public Utility Commission has already initiated an investigation.
In addition, the Texas Railroad Commission has called an emergency meeting for Tuesday to "get answers" about the blackouts.
It all started when the state's regulatory agency, ERCOT, ordered the outages in an effort it said to prevent a collapse of the grid.
