HOUSTON - It was a busy Friday for health profession students in Houston as they participated in a mass casualty drill.

Staged by the Houston Fire Department and UT Health, students acting as first responders were called out after a car crashed into a group of protestors, a sniper began shooting others from a tower, and there was an Ebola outbreak.

The exercise was meant to prepare students for some of the situations they may face as first responders.
