HOUSTON -- At&T says more adults are texting while driving despite knowing that it isn’t safe.
Nearly half of commuters reported texting while driving in a recent poll sponsored by At&T. Of those, 43-percent called it a “habit.”
Experts said the problem has gotten worse over the years. Now six in 10 commuters say they did not text while driving three years ago.
While efforts to raise awareness of the dangers of texting while driving continue, 98-percent of
commuters surveyed said they know sending a text or email while driving isn’t safe. Click here to learn more about At&T’s effort to put a stop to texting and driving. http://www2.itcanwaitcdn.com/
