HOUSTON—It took two months, but the Obama administration says the government health care website is now working 90 percent of the time, versus 40 percent at times in October.

And perhaps no one is more excited about that, than the Missouri City woman who wanted to be the first in the country to sign up.

KHOU 11 News first introduced you to Jennie Johnson the day the health care site went live. Reporter Doug Miller checked in with her again Monday to see if she’s had any luck.

She said, last week, after eight weeks of trying, she finally made it into the Obamacare marketplace.

“Oh, I am so excited,” she said.

But she still hasn’t signed up for health insurance. She runs a small business out of her home office, so she decided to take an extra step and apply to see if she’s eligible for business insurance.

For now, she’s just glad she finally got onto the website.

“I don’t want to say it was a relief, but it was an accomplishment.  You know, my perseverance paid off,” she said.
