HOUSTON -- One person was struck by lightning in west Houston Monday afternoon.
Officials say it happened around 2:45 p.m. on Royal Oaks Drive near Meadowglen Lane.
The person was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, according to the Houston Fire Department.
There’s no word on the person’s condition.
