As Valentine’s Day looms, some are reflecting on their current relationship and maybe lost love.

According to the Mayo Clinic,  going through a divorce, break-up, or the death of a loved one can be so devastating for some people that it can affect their health.

Studies showed those who suffered from Broken Heart Syndrome might have symptoms much like that of a heart attack.

They are so stressed over losing their love they can suffer chest pains, shortness of breath, and even dizziness, according to doctors.  The symptoms are often brought on by a surge of stress hormones.  The syndrome in some cases causes part of the heart to temporarily enlarge and not pump well.

In most cases, Broken Heart Syndrome is reversible and treatable.
