GALVESTON, Texas - The second annual Galveston Bay Report Card was released on Wednesday and shows the Bay still has work to do.
The study breaks down the Bay using six factors including water quality and wildlife and human health risks.
The report card shows the water quality is improving but there are still too many spills and trash in the Bay that is not being monitored.
The fish and bird populations are doing okay, but the shellfish are deteriorating and require action.
