LOS ANGELES -- The lawyer for actor Shia LaBeouf says his client’s hand was “crushed” in a wreck that flipped his truck last weekend.

Shia LaBeouf is shown here with Indiana Jone co-star, Harrison Ford.
Attorney Michael Norris says LaBeouf is still at risk of infection and other complications following a four-hour surgery on the hand.
The 22-year-old LaBeouf was hospitalized and cited for drunken driving in the wreck, the impact of which flipped his truck after he tried to make a left turn around 3 a.m. last Sunday.
Authorities have since said it was the fault of the other driver who apparently ran a red light. Norris says the driver may have been speeding and not paying attention.
Norris also claims the actor’s left arm is immobilized and that the production of the “Transformers” sequel has been modified to accommodate his recovery.
LaBeouf’s credits also include “Disturbia” and the latest “Indiana Jones” flick.
