A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas'

The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the three ghosts that haunt him on Christmas Eve is back at the Alley Theatre with the new version that was first introduced in 2005. With scenery designed by Tony Straiges, costumes by Alejo Vietti, lighting by Rui Rita, and original music by John Gromada, this is surely a performance to not miss.

MECA’s annual celebration for the Feast Day of Our Lady Guadalupe is based on a tradition that dates back to 16th century Mexico. Millions of Hispanics throughout the nation and the Americas gather on this day to honor La Virgen de Guadalupe. MECA’s Cullen Trust for the Performing Arts Concert Series presents Fiesta Guadalupana at 8 p.m., with exhibit contributions from Houston artists. This free concert is at MECA’s Dow School Campus, located in Houston’s Old Sixth Ward.
