President Barack Obama spoke at Union Station, Minute Maid Park Friday, March 9, 2012 to a crowd of over 600 supporters who each paid $500 to attend. During his speech, Obama told supporters, “The recovery is accelerating. America is coming back.” Obama attended two fundraisers in Houston to raise campaign dollars for his bid for re-election among supporters who live in a traditional Republican state.
