SPRING, Texas – A local man is facing charges after investigators say he bit the face of a young boy who was riding around on a go cart.
Abdus Sattar, 70, is charged with injury to a child.
According to court documents, the victim -- an 11-year-old boy – was riding his go cart in the 5600 block of Brookway Willow Drive on July 14, 2012, when Sattar flagged him down.
The boy said he did not know Sattar, but he stopped to see what he wanted.
At that point, the boy said Sattar grabbed him by the shoulders and forcibly kissed him, biting both of his cheeks.
The boy struggled and eventually broke free, fleeing back to his house.
The boy’s mother called the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office and reported the incident.
Investigators said the boy identified Sattar out of a photo lineup as the man who’d bitten him.
Charges were filed on July 19.
