HOUSTON—Houston police investigated the death of a man found outside a northwest side home early Wednesday.

Police were called to a disturbance on Saddle Lane near Crownover Road around 4:30 a.m. When officers arrived, they said they found a man dead outside.

Police said several men, all employees of a nearby restaurant, are roommates at the residence and were having a get-together when an altercation occurred. The man was later found dead.

“It appears that the gentleman was most likely stabbed or either beaten with an object,” HPD Homicide Det. Richard Martinez said.

One of the roommates was taken into custody for questioning.

A neighbor KHOU 11 News talked to said she saw them partying last night.

“It started around 5 in the afternoon and it kept it going on all night and they were just posted up drinking,” the neighbor said.
