HOUSTON -- Prison Break Tattoos is a local business that lives up to its name. You can get some quality ink in a place with all the decor of the local jail and donate to a worthy cause.

"This is the coolest shop probably in America, I think. I mean, look at the place,” said customer Charles Johnson.

There are actual prison bars, barbed wire, cots and even warning signs in the parlor.

"We're ready to let you experience prison," said Bryan Klevens, owner and designer of Prison Break Tattoos. We like to pay attention to detail. Just like our tattoos that we do here."

Klevens is also a cop and has been serving Houston for more than 20 years.

"It's not your typical tattoo shop," Klevens said. "We push it off as an experience. You walk in and you're in awe."

Klevens plans to deliver donations from each tattoo he sells to the Houston’s 100 Club, a charity that supports families of individuals killed in the line of duty.

"For the funds to go to something like that, I think it makes the pain even more worth it," Johnson said.

Klevens is proud to give back.

“I've had this 20 year career and now I'm starting this part of my life and it's a continuous gift," Klevens said.
