HOUSTON – Most women can’t afford to buy high-priced Gucci or Louis Vuitton handbags that normally cost thousands of dollars.
If you find one for a lot less, chances are it’s counterfeit.
Police say they busted a Houston man this week for selling fake designer purses.
Andres Cruz , 40, is charged with trademark counterfeiting, which is a felony.
They say Cruz had 45 handbags labeled Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Cache and Michael Kors when they caught him.
