HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – It was a wild night for four suspects, allegedly committing three crimes in a span of hours across northeast Harris County.

The four suspects smashed their way into the Cell Spot, a cell phone store.

“I am very angry,” said the owner, who didn’t want to be identified.

What the suspects didn’t know is they were caught on camera. In the surveillance tape, a car can be seen just plowing through the glass stopping just before the counter.

“We’re pretty sure they’re from the Spring area,” said Lt. Dean Hensley with the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office. “Somebody out there knows these guys.”

The men seen in the video were wearing bandanas as they ransacked the store. They kicked in glass shelves and snatched as many cell phones as they can carry.

“The windows were just shattered, everything, the glasses, the showcases,” said the owner. “It’s just been a crazy mess. Everything was completely ruined.”

They did all that damage in under five minutes. The Fire Marshal’s Office said it’s clear that have done this before.

“They were probably targeting this particular cell phone store,” said Hensley.

But this was crime two of three early Thursday.

Hours earlier, the same four men allegedly stole the car used in the smash and grab from a nearby neighborhood.

And after driving through the store with it, they lit it on fire and dumped it in a ditch. That’s why the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office wants these guys caught and soon.

“They can become dangerous,” said Hensley. “Their next stop could be a store with someone inside. We don’t want anyone to get hurt.”

The owner at Cell Spot is just thankful things weren’t any worse.

“I feel blessed that I wasn’t here when it happened,” he said.

If you recognize these suspects, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
