HOUSTON -- The only thing worse than someone owing you money is trying to collect it.

But you’d think with the criminal courts and police on your side, getting what you’re owed would be a breeze.

Well, think again.

The 11 News Defenders have discovered if you’re a crime victim, even if a judge orders the crook to pay you thousands of dollars in “restitution”, you may never get it.
