These men are wanted for crimes against animals

HOUSTON - Crime Stoppers is asking the public for their help in locating three suspects wanted for crimes against animals.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the following individuals:

  • Arturo Aguilar - wanted for allegedly using an axe to strike a dog in the head in December 2007.

  • Derick Anthony Collins - wanted for allegedly abusing a 6-month-old dog. According to police, Collins grabbed a dog by the neck and hit the dog against a brick building. He then threw the dog over a wooden fence towards a bayou.

  • Qian Fang - wanted for allegedly attempting to poison a woman's dog with poisoned cheese balls.

Throughout September, Crime Stoppers will partner with Houston PetSet to promote and educate the community about animal cruelty, with the goal to raise awareness about what is considered animal cruelty. The groups also hope to help people identify signs to animal abuse and increase the number of animal cruelty tips called in to prevent the suffering of animals.

Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at
