Suspects wanted for man's brutal murder

HOUSTON – Two men are wanted for their alleged involvement in the brutal murder of a Houston man.

Tony Iwu was found dead in a field in the back of his truck in the 5000 block of South Acres Drive on March 6. Houston police believe Iwu was murdered and set on fire.

Police are searching for 35-year-old Jason Demond Gates and Dominic Germall Wright, who they believed are involved with Iwu’s murder. Police said they’ve arrested another man, Mercedes McDonald, in connection with Iwu’s death.

Gates is described as a black male, about 5-feet 9-inches and 200 pounds. He has tattoos on his arms, neck and face, as well as a large growth on his forehead.

Wright is described as a black male, about 5-feet 11-inches and 190 pounds.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to their arrest.
