Suspect sought in robbery of Jersey Village Subway restaurant

JERSEY VILLAGE, Texas -- Jersey Village police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect accused of robbing a Subway restaurant on March 27.

Police say the robbery occurred around 5:40 p.m. March 27 at a Subway in the 17000 block of the Northwest Freeway.

According to officials, the suspect entered the restaurant and asked the cashier to come near the register and answer a question. When the cashier came closer, police say the suspect pulled out a small silver automatic handgun, pointed it at the cashier and demanded money from the register.

Authorities say the suspect was wearing a red Houston Astros baseball cap, earrings in both ears, a blue and gray-striped mock turtleneck sweater, dark gray sweatpants and black shoes or short boots.
