HOUSTON - Police say the alleged shooter that killed a man during an argument in a southeast Houston roadway is in custody.
The shooting was reported before 11 p.m. Wednesday on Southlawn near Scott.
Houston Police Department officers arrived and found the male victim in the roadway with several gunshot wounds. He was placed in an ambulance but died on the way to the hospital.
Homicide investigators say the suspect in the case was taken into custody, and charges are expected in the case.
A motive for the shooting is unknown, but police believe the suspect and the victim were arguing just before the shots rang out. Up to 12 rounds were fired.
It’s believed the two men knew each other but did not live in any of the nearby homes.
