Suspect charged in Richmond-area shooting

RICHMOND, Texas- A man has been arrested and charged for a shooting incident that occurred in the Richmond area on Wednesday. 

According to the Fort Bend Sheriffs' Office, they were called around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 to respond to a shooting incident in the 3200 block of FM 2977. Upon arrival, they found two victims in the parking lot. 

The victims were immediately transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. 

Detectives located the suspect, 19-year-old Logan Garza, on Sept. 29 when he was returning home. 

Garza was arrested with a $100,000 bond. He remains in the Fort Bend County Jail on two counts of Aggravated Assault.

One of the victims has been released from the hospital. The second victim remains in the hospital for additional surgical procedures.
