Walmart stabbing causes lockdown at Crosby ISD schools

HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS - The Harris County Sheriff’s Office says a person was stabbed in the parking lot of a Walmart store in the Crosby area.

The suspect involved is now in custody, officials say.

Deputies first responded to FM 2100 north of the Crosby Freeway around 10:42 a.m. Wednesday where a man was found bleeding from his chest.

As of 11:30 a.m. all Crosby ISD schools were on lockdown due to a suspect search. The attacker was last seen running along FM 2100, deputies said.

The lockdown has since been lifted.

Views from Air 11 showed deputies gathered near crime scene tape at a side entrance to the store.
