Spring couple robbed after placing ad on "OfferUp" app

SPRING, TEXAS - Montgomery County investigators are hoping the public can help them track down a couple of robbery suspects.

They’re accused of robbing a young Spring couple who tried to sell some items on the “OfferUp” app.

The suspects answered the ad and showed up at the couple’s apartment at 301 Pruitt Road.

Once inside the apartment, one suspect pulled out a pistol and they robbed the couple of nearly $400 in cash. They also took a mattress, box spring and a printer.

The husband chased the suspects and took a picture of their truck as it headed south on I-45. It was a green 1996 GMC truck with license plate FMF 4287.
