Reward offered for wanted woman accused of injuring a child

HOUSTON - A reward is being offered for information on the whereabouts of a wanted fugitive accused of injuring a 12-year-old child.

Police say that in July, 36-year-old Mia Dorian allegedly struck the child in the head with a broomstick and knocked the child to the floor. She's accused of then sitting on the child, hitting her in the face repeatedly and banging the child's head against the floor until she lost consciousness.

The child was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

Dorian is described as a black female, 5'4", weighing approximately 180 lbs,. Dorian has multiple tattoos on her neck, wrists, arms, and back, according to police. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
