Reward offered for hit-and-run suspect

HOUSTON - A reward is being offered for information on a suspect wanted for a hit-and-run accident in September.

On September 17 shortly before 2:30 a.m., a pedestrian was attempting to cross the 3800 block of Washington when an unknown suspect struck the victim with a car. The victim suffered serious bodily injuries, according to Crime Stoppers. 

The driver of a white 4-door Honda or BMW type vehicle is wanted for failure to stop and render aid.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the suspect. Information may be reported by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org.

Tips may also be sent via a text message by texting the following: TIP610 plus the information to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
