Reward for suspects who attempted to rob man at car wash

HOUSTON- The Houston Police Department and Crime Stoppers are looking for four suspects who attempted to rob a man washing his car in southwest Houston. 

According to police, the incident happened on Sept. 23 around 9:50 p.m. The victim was washing at the car wash located in the 7400 block of Bissonnet Street.

As he was washing his car, a gray 2012-2014 Toyota Camry drove up next to him.

Four men got out of the vehicle demanding the victim's car keys. One suspect was holding a handgun and another suspect was holding a baseball bat.

Police said the victim sprayed the suspect holding the handgun with the water pressure gun. The victim attempted to run away, but he was shot in the arm.

The suspects fled the scene in the Toyota Camry.  Video surveillance captured images of two of the suspects.


The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5'10", 180 pounds with shoulder length dreadlocks.

The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 5'06", 150 pounds with short hair and armed with a knife.

The third suspect is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 25 years old, 6'01", 170 pounds and armed with a handgun.

The fourth suspect is described as a black male.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of the suspects.
