Police: Three suspects involved in attempted abduction of 11-year-old

Police are looking for three men allegedly involved in an attempted abduction of an 11-year-old boy.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Police have released surveillance images with hopes of gathering information on the attempted abduction of an 11-year-old boy.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened on January 6 around 8 a.m. when the boy was walking to school along Star Peak Drive near Hill Intermediate School.

Police say that the boy was approached by three unknown Hispanic men in a white van. The van allegedly approached the boy and one of the men yelled to the boy in Spanish, "don't run!". When the boy turned to look, he saw one of the men in the van holding a "large pole fishing net".

The boy was able to flee without being harmed.

Police released images of the suspect vehicle as it drove through the area.
