Police searching for man in fatal hit-and-run on Airport Blvd

HOUSTON -- Houston Police are asking the public for help in a fatal hit-and-run last month.

According to HPD, it was Sept. 21 at about 8:33 p.m. when a 73-year old man with a walker was struck while crossing the 9000 block of Airport Blvd.

Police say the victim was hit by a green colored Nissan Titan pickup truck traveling eastbound. The truck slowed down but did not stop after hitting the victim.

The truck fled the scene eastbound on Airport towards the North Freeway without stopping. The suspect may have turned around and returned to the area of the crash scene, heading westbound, but still did not stop to assist the injured man, police say.
