HOUSTON – Police who thought they were investigating a chemical leak made a gruesome discovery in northeast Houston Friday night.
Officers said they found the body of a woman at a check-cashing business in the 2400 block of Fulton.
According to investigators, they were called to the scene after reports of a foul odor, which they initially believed to be the result of some kind of chemical spill.
When they entered the building, they found the woman’s body.
She was nude and bound, and investigators said they believe she was sexually assaulted.
The woman’s identity and cause of death were not known.

This is very, very poor journalism! It is now, it has always been bad, and will never be repaired!!!! Not only do I not like the changes in the forums, I am tired of reading unfinished and tangled up articles!!! So.........the woman was found. Thank God she was found alive. Did they take anything? And, and my biggest question: Whatever happened to the foul odor? WHAT WAS IT?????

Cantu_120: Re-read the article again. The woman WAS FOUND DEAD and was the cause of the foul odor.

cantu_120 WAKE UP AN LEARN TO READ: The story states they found a woman's BODY. That implies DEAD. The four odor which sounded the alert was that of the DEAD woman's decaying BODY.

I am wide awake.........THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!! Do you see" the result of the foul (and not four mezeus) odor was that of the woman's decomposed body, and not a chemical spill as reported?" No!!!!! They didn't even say how long the woman had been dead for!!! That is poor journalism all the way around! khou has always had a bad rep for bad journalism! So......keep to yourselves!
