HPD: Man and woman assaulted, robbed taxi driver

HOUSTON - Police are looking for a man and woman who are wanted for allegedly assaulting a taxi driver.

According to HPD, on September 8 the driver picked up the suspects at a restaurant on Bissonnet and County Creek. He then drove them to a fast food restaurant in the 10300 block of Richmond.

The male suspect got out of the car and when he was confronted about not paying the driver, he hit the driver several times in the face before stealing cash from the taxi.

The female suspect then began hitting the driver in the face also. Both suspects fled the scene without paying the fare.
