Two killed on motorcycle by suspected drunk driver

The 21-year-old suspected drunk driver crashed into three vehicles early Saturday morning, killing two people on a motorcycle.

TWO KILLED BY SUSPECTED DRUNK DRIVER - HOUSTON- A man and woman were hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver early Saturday morning on FM 1960. 

The driver, Forrest Vaughn, 21, faces two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter.

Deputies say he had slurred speech, glassy eyes and could barely stand up after he plowed into a motorcycle and two other vehicles.

According to authorities, the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. at Imperial Valley Drive. They said a Honda, a Toyota and a motorcycle were all stopped in the westbound lanes at a red light.

While stopped, Vaughn, speeding in a pickup truck, slammed into the back end of the two cars and the motorcycle.   

The man and woman riding on the motorcycle died at the scene. The two men in the Honda were transported to the hospital in stable condition. The two people in the Toyota were not hurt. 

Vaughn was transported to the hospital in stable condition. He is being held on a $60,000 bond.
