Man arrested for allegedly setting ex-girlfriend's home on fire

ATASCOCITA, Texas- A man was arrested and accused of setting his ex-girlfriend's home in Atascocita on fire.

According to the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office, Ronald Johnson used an "ignitable liquid" on Oct. 18 to set the home located in the 1600 block of Wooded Acres on fire.

Johnson was arrested for arson of a habitation after investigators say forensic evidence placed him at the scene.

“The defendant was angry with the victim after she ended their relationship,” said Public Information Officer Rachel Moreno.
