HOUSTON - A man was arrested and charged Friday in the alleged sexual assault of a child in a Houston library bathroom.

Jonathan Josue Guevara Cea, 24, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Authorities say a young boy was visiting the library located in the 11300 block of Airline Drive when he entered the men’s restroom. They say Guevara Cea, who was already in the restroom, forced the boy into a stall and sexually assaulted him.

The child was able to escape, and officials say Guevara Cea ran from the scene.

The Houston Police Department released surveillance video of the suspect at the time of the incident earlier this month.

Investigators say Guevara Cea was arrested Friday without incident.

Police say there are no known additional victims, however, anyone who believes their child may have had inappropriate contact with Guevara Cea is urged to contact the HPD Special Victims Division at (713)-308-1140 or Crime Stoppers at (713)-222-TIPS.
