Man accused of setting fire to ex's apartment

HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS - The Harris County Fire Marshal says a man has been arrested for arson after a domestic dispute.

It was Sunday when the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department called the Harris County Fire Marshal after a fire was allegedly set at an apartment complex in the 7000 block of Smiling Wood Lane.

Investigators determined the fire was set by Traumon Hardin after a fight with his ex-girlfriend, who lived at the apartments.

Hardin allegedly put ignitable liquid on the outside of the complex and started the fire. He was arrested and booked into jail Sunday night.

The fire marshal’s office did not report any injuries in the alleged crime.
