Louise ISD teacher accused of secretly recording student changing clothes

WHARTON COUNTY, Texas- A teacher in the Louise Independent School District was arrested after being accused of secretly recording a student changing clothes.

WHARTON COUNTY, Texas- A teacher in the Louise Independent School District was arrested after being accused of secretly recording a student changing clothes. 

According to the Wharton County District Attorney, 45-year-old Thomas Hosman was arrested on Friday for two counts of improper photography/visual recording.

The D.A. said Hosman recorded at least one female student while she was changing her clothes at school. Investigators said Hosman posted video of the girl online which caught the attention of internet crime detectives in Houston.

Hosman was charged in both Wharton and Colorado county. He lived in Eagle Lake. 

The superintendent for Louise ISD said Hosman has been placed on administrative leave pending a termination hearing. He taught social studies at the district's junior high school and also coached at the junior and senior high school. 

Investigators are asking for other victims, if any, to contact local authorities. 

Hosman was released from jail on a $60,000 bond.

The D.A. requested that he have no contact with students in the district and children under the age of 18. He also can’t have internet access and must report to probation weekly.
