Large drug bust nets 2 arrests in NW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS - Two men were arrested this week after authorities seized a large amount of drugs and guns from a northwest Harris County home.

Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to tips from residents about heavy foot and vehicle traffic coming from a home in the Longwood Village subdivision.

Officials set surveillance on the home in the 14400 block of Kenley Orchard Lane. They obtained a search warrant on Juston Dew, 21, and Octivous Williams, 25, who they say both live in the home.

Authorities recovered 83 pounds of THC, 264 ounces of promethazine and codeine, as well as 26 bars of Xanax and 14 pounds of marijuana. They also found 33 pounds of edible marijuana in various forms, including cupcakes and Rice Krispy treat bars.

Additionally, deputies recovered two AR-15’s, an AK 47 short barreled gun, a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun and two handguns. An SKS rifle and a bolt action type rifle were also found, as well as numerous large capacity drum style magazines for the AR’s. They also seized $3,000 from the home.

Dew and Williams have been charged with manufacturing and delivery and possession with intent to deliver, two charges each on both men.
